Test Driving at Volvo Hällered – Now with the Solar Panel Mounted!

The photo shows our very first test drive, when only the chassis was completed.

Since then, months of dedicated work have brought us to where we are today: the car is nearly finished, and we’re ready for a weekend filled with exciting driving and technical testing at Volvo Group’s proving ground, Hällered.

The weekend begins with basic checks on the skid pad and a short test drive to ensure everything is functioning properly. After that, we’ll move on to Handling Track 2 and the High Speed Track – two circuits that give us valuable opportunities to evaluate the car’s performance in realistic conditions.

The main focus of the weekend is to:

• collect essential data,

• test different wheel alignments,

• and evaluate telemetry and radio communication.
