We at JU Solar Team are proud to present our latest creation - the Axelight solar car! March 22, 2023 was a really exciting day for us, when we showed off our new solar car for the first time.
Axelight is named by our main partner Axelent, who also designed the car's amazing wrap. We would like to thank Axelent for their invaluable contribution in the development of Axelight.
But it is not only the wrap that is unique. Axelight also has a new shape and the use of flax fiber in the body instead of carbon fiber reduces the weight of the car and increases its performance. In addition, it is the first time we use a solar car with three wheels instead of four, which is an exciting challenge for us.
The shape of the Axelight is something we are particularly proud of. It is the first solar car we are developing with this shape. The main advantage of the shape is that it significantly reduces air resistance, allowing the car to reach higher speeds. We are very happy to see how our research and development is leading to concrete results.
Of course, the car is still in the development stage, but we are well on our way to creating a full version soon. We want to thank everyone who has supported us in our efforts to develop Axelight. Your contributions and commitment have been crucial in getting us to where we are today.
We look forward to continuing to work with all of you to drive the future of solar technology forward. Thank you for being with us on this journey!
