With the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2021 being cancelled, the team sees new opportunities.
In early February it was announced that due to the current COVID-19 situation and border closures the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2021 is cancelled External link, opens in new window.. The team has been preparing for the race for a year now and we refuse to see this as a downfall. Instead, new opportunities arise. We are happy to announce that for the first time in JU Solar Team history, we are aiming to participate in the Sasol Solar Challenge 2022 in South Africa!
